About Avi
I'm a 2nd year medicine student at Imperial College London, and I've been helping people through medical admissions for 3 years. Teaching is genuinely the thing I'm best at and enjoy most: I like the moment something clicks and a student stops dreading a section they used to freeze on.
I remember exactly how the UCAT feels under pressure — the timing panic, the sections that seem impossible until someone shows you the underlying pattern. My style is calm, patient, and built around how you actually think, not a one-size-fits-all script. I'd rather you understand why an answer works than memorise that it does.

I teach UCAT the way I actually cracked it: by finding why the wrong answers are wrong, not memorising the right ones. Most students plateau because they drill questions blindly — I start with a diagnostic to see where you're really losing marks, then build the timing and reasoning to fix it, section by section.
My focus is Verbal Reasoning and Decision Making, the two most heavily weighted sections since the 2025 restructure and the ones where technique beats raw effort. Lessons run 60 minutes, built around your own practice data.
