About Ashley
I am a current GCSE English Language lecturer with over three years experience in designing and delivering the GCSE English language specification. I have also delivered A Level English Literature and specialise in English Literature and creative writing.
I am a examiner for AQA (GCSE English Language)which brings knowledge and specific understanding on the GCSE exam. I have marked GCSE English for two years and have experience marking both paper 1 and paper 2 English Language.

I have a slightly different approach to teaching than most; I spend a lot of effort building a relationship with my students, and use this to inform my teaching. I am creative, open minded, and have a true passion and enthusiasm for both teaching and English. This year, I sat the GCSE English Language exam as a student (it has been over 8 years since I sat my GCSE's!). This is a perfect example of my approach to teaching, as I felt it was important to gain perspective of how an examination looks and feels holistically. I feel fully equipped with the new examination changes and want to use and share that with others.
