About Bhavana

I am Bhavana, a professionally trained Bharatanatyam dancer and teacher with 12+ years of learning experience and 3 years of teaching experience in both online and offline modes. I have completed Visharad (Diploma) in Bharatanatyam with distinction. I have received the Nritya Kala Shiromani award for my dance choreography and won many more prizes in the field of Bharatanatyam at National level competitions.

My teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation while making the learning process enjoyable and inspiring. Whether you are a beginner or have any prior experience, I will guide you with care and dedication.
I welcome all the students irrespective of age and gender who are interested to learn this beautiful art form.

About the lesson

I offer Bharatanatyam and Semi-Classical Dance classes designed for students of all age groups and genders. Whether you're taking your very first dance step or looking to strengthen your classical foundation, my classes provide a supportive and structured learning environment.

Each class includes:

* Warm-up and body conditioning exercises
* Step-by-step training in Bharatanatyam Adavus
* Mudras (Hasta) and their practical application
* Basic theory to develop a deeper understanding of the art form
* Technique, posture, rhythm, expressions, and performance skills
* Both group and individual classes are available
* Classes available for all irrespective of age and gender
*For group class: Fee- Rs. 1500 per month (i.e 8 classes a month, each class will be of 1 hr)
*For individual classes: Fee -Rs. 2500 per month (i.e 8 classes/month and each class will be 1 hr)

My teaching approach emphasizes discipline, a strong foundation on basics, proper technique, and a genuine appreciation for Indian classical dance, making every session engaging, enjoyable, and beginner-friendly.

Fee & Class details:
•Group Class: 8 classes/month (i.e 2 classes/week)- ₹1500/month
•Individual Class: 8 classes/month (i.e 2 classes/week)- ₹2500/month
(Each class: 1 hour)
