About Oleg

Hi! My name is Oleg.
I've been playing guitar since I was 8.
Everything I know about music and guitar I learned on my own.

I grew up in a musical family, so music surrounds me all my life. Music helps to overcome difficulties, supports in difficult moments. Music is a world in which you can immerse yourself completely, spend a lifetime in it and still it'll have a lot to offer.
I would love to share this opportunity with my students - to find support in music, to discover the same boundless and deep world.
And it seems that I can help them with this.

There are two things I like most about my work:
1. When the incomprehensible becomes clear
2. When the student no longer doubts himself and gains confidence in his own abilities.

About the lesson

Hello everyone!
My name is Oleg Shilin.
I am a musician and guitar teacher with 12 years of experience.
And here's what I teach (choose what you want):
⁃ Play your favorite songs on electric guitar, classical or acoustic guitar, and even on ukulele.
⁃ Accompany yourself and sing
⁃ Music theory on different levels, from basic to advanced.
- Read and understand sheet music and all that chord stuff.
⁃ Perform complex guitar pieces like Nothing else matters or classical pieces like Astor Piazzola's Libertango or Bach, for example. I love Bach.
⁃ To hear and understand music as we musicians hear and understand it
⁃ Improvisation (for some reason, many are afraid, although it's fun)
⁃ And even compose your own music

Blues? My pleasure.
Funk? Lets do it.
Rock, powerful and not so powerful guitar solos? Of course.
Fingerstyle? Yes.
Anything else? Sure.
