About Leo

Hello! I'm Leo, an actor/creative based in London. I'm currently studying Musical Theatre at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Affiliated institutions*: Royal Central School of Speech and Drama Royal Academy of Music Chineke Orchestra National Youth Theatre The Old Vic Akoma Asa Performing Arts South London Youth Theatre *I have either worked for or with these institutions. I will tutor in singing, acting, academic drama (the school subject), and much much more! I am an avid theatre fan, and after years of training I'm excited to help others on their creative journey. I've had experience in theatre, film, musical direction, playwriting, musical writing, stage management, producing and more. I truly believe that versatility is the most valuable thing a performer can have in the current industry, and my tutoring reflects this. I will always encourage multi-discipline training and performance, and will work alongside my student to find the combination of skills that helps them to stand out against others.

About the lesson

I offer a friendly, attentive approach to help my students achieve what they want in acting and the creative arts. My teaching style is extremely interactive, as I want to ensure that my students feel engaged and supported throughout every session. I utilise specific feedback and positive reinforcement to build confidence and encourage constructive conversation, which healthily and happily motivates my students to achieve the best results. Average lesson length: 30-60min depending on subject. I've done 6 months work experience with a youth theatre, working with ages 4-16. I also produced, rehearsed and directed an annual Musical Theatre Concert for 3 years consecutively in my previous school. I have also successfully been through the Drama School application process, boasting BA offers from Royal Central, Mountview and Italia Conti. I achieved a grade 9 (A**) in my Drama GCSE, and am predicted an A* in my Drama A-Level. I was awarded the Drama Scholarship, and the school prize of Most Contributions to Drama. Alongside practical drama, these achievements demonstrate my ability to tutor academic drama to an exceptional level. My lessons are for actors/creatives aged ~8 and up. I have experience tutoring at all levels, and will happily take on beginner/intermediate/advanced clients.
