About Megan
I am currently a degree student studying music. I have learned a lot about music performance, music theory, I play guitar to a high standard (self taught), and am skilled in certain aspects of music technology (recording music).
I have achieved a diploma in music performance already and am working towards achieving my degree in music performance. For my first year, I achieved a high 2:1 as my grade.
It is rewarding for me to see students achieve in anything especially a subject in which I feel passionate about.

My teaching method is:
Finding out what each student wants to gain knowledge in, finding out what they already know, and working from there. It is important for me to have a good understanding of what each student wants to get out of each session and what they feel confident with and then to build from that and help all of my students gain confidence in their subject.
It is important for me to make all of my students feel comfortable. I approach each session with an open mind and know how it feels to want to learn and achieve in something you are passionate about whilst also knowing how difficult and frustrating it can be at the beginning. However, I love seeing my work pay off and seeing my students light up when they begin to gain skill in their subject.
I understand that each student is different and each person learns differently and some take longer than others but I always make sure my students take it at a pace that is comfortable for them.
