About Austin
In my current position, I serve as a Worship and Music Director in a church with an adult choir, adult hand bell choir, organ, praise band, and various youth music activities among other things. I studied voice, keyboard, and composition at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. I have 15 years of music lesson experience and 7 years of professional work through college and career post Luther.

One of my greatest joys is teaching and coaching! I have worked with students from beginner to undergrad. My goal is to help you learn and improve on skills while having fun at a pace optimal for steady growth with a foundation in proper technique and theory. One part about lessons and tutorship with me is that you have a say in the repertoire and content we study! Sessions can be as laid back or rigorous as you want. I am skilled in providing in depth teaching or casual coaching in areas of keyboard (piano and organ), voice, conducting, music theory, music composition, and much more!
