About Alex
I am a college student at Baylor University with a passion and love for all things music. I have a 3.94 music GPA and have experience tutoring in theory with college-level courses. I absolutely love teaching and helping students find the joy in music. I routinely work with high school students in musical theater camps and all-state preparations. My fiancée and I both plan to teach high school choir in Texas after graduation in 2024. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!

As a music education student, I strongly believe in the importance of a thoughtful approach to learning. My music theory lessons can either be a way to learn music theory from scratch or can supplement an AP music theory course or personal study of the subject. My voice lessons will ensure the student has a strong understanding of the voice and research-backed methods for taking care of their voice. I have experience with a wide range of vocal styles from musical theatre to classical voice. My lessons are for anyone who desires to learn how to sing or improve their singing voice.

Alex gave me lessons for my TMEA Allstate music, and through his teaching I was able to progress quickly in my ability and went through the audition process and was selected to be a part of the TMEA mixed choir as first chair.
