About Jack
Being a native Spanish speaker means I hear the language as a rhythm rather than just a set of rules. You might assume that grammar is the most important part of a new language, but I argue that listening to the melody of the sentence comes first. I hold a BA in Spanish and Music from the University of Melbourne. My work with kids, teens, and advanced learners has shown me that everyone needs a different path to fluency. I bring a deep knowledge of Latin American versus Castilian variants to our chats. My background allows me to mix vocabulary building with real-world role play. I am the teacher who wants you to talk like a local while we enjoy the process. Consider me your family connection to the Spanish-speaking world.
