About Alexis
A museum professional of two years, I have worked various positions within museum institutions. I have prior experience as a tutor within colleges. I love learning about the various paintings and decorative arts that museums display. I have a Bachelors in Art History and an Associates in Fine Arts. An artist in my free time, I encourage using art history to help develop art techniques; and vice versa, using art to better appreciate and understand the history of art.

Presentation style lessons with additional activities (matching, Quizlet, writing assignments, art projects, etc.) to aid in learning of art history. Fit the tutoring to the students needs. Will begin with a short powerpoint on the topic and then either assign or work through additional assignments. Willing to fit the coursework to the students needs and interests. Any age welcome but mostly suited for high school to undergraduate levels. Most proficient in survey-level, American and French art, and 19th-century. But able to teach/tutor a variety of specific art history subjects.
