About Francesca
A Typical Lesson Plan In each lesson, I begin with a short review of the previous topic to confirm understanding and address any lingering questions. I then introduce the new concept in clear, logical steps, using examples and visual aids when helpful. Students have guided practice time with my support, followed by independent exercises to reinforce learning. I end with a quick recap and tailored practice suggestions so progress continues between sessions. What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor I am Francesca, a math tutor with a Doctoral Degree in Mathematics and years of experience teaching students of different ages and backgrounds. My strength lies in making even the most complex topics accessible through patient, structured, and encouraging instruction. I adapt my approach to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals, helping them not only solve problems but understand the reasoning behind them. Being fluent in both Italian and English also allows me to support bilingual students and those learning math in a second language.
