About Rachmiel
I have a diploma and am currently a 4th year Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of International Studies (Arabic major) double degree student, as well as an experienced Law Clerk/Paralegal. I have two years university tutoring experience, as well as a year of experience in teaching teenagers in Italy.
I have completed my Arabic major at university, and have been selected to compete and represent Deakin University at an Arabic language debating championship in Qatar in March 2019

My teaching method is based upon adapting to the need of the student, in first assessing their level and then working from there to increase fluency and language proficiency, as well as confidence boosting exercises.
Lesson structures are individually-tailored to the needs and desires of the student, and will make full use of the resources the student themselves provide, as well as through resources I provide. I base Arabic language lessons off of a mix of electronic sources, eBooks, and the Ahlan wa Sahlan textbooks.
My philosophy is that the best way to encourage learning is to provide the tools and the confidence to students so that they can continue teaching themselves, with guidance to help put them on that path.
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the tutor.
I know him to be an honest man, who works hard to get his point across for students to learn.
Rachmiel is a great guy. He's very sharp and is very good articulating difficult to understand points as well as picking up on nuances most people don't readily consider in texts. He's always been serious and consistent with me, too. I've known him for a while and I would say that he accelerates and outperforms almost all of his peers (at times teachers, it would seem as well) in terms of understanding subject matter and retention. I would definitely recommend him.
I have known Rahmiel for years and can give my full endorsement and personal recommendation for his teaching. We originally met on a Facebook Jewish Legal page, where the intricacies of Jewish Law, custom, philosophy, and tradition were discussed. We soon became Facebook friends and have since met in person and kept in touch. Anyone who knows Rahmiel knows he has encyclopedic knowledge of an array of topics in general, but especially things Jewish related. Many texts that were discussed contain classical Hebrew, and Rahmiel's mastery of it is obvious. When I joined him for his brother's wedding in Israel, I also witnessed him interacting with those around us in Hebrew which was completely fluent. My mother is Israeli and I grew up speaking Hebrew, so I can vouch for that with confidence. Rahmiel is also fluent in several languages which he taught himself, which is testimony to his intelligence. We still occasionally converse on Jewish Law topics, and his teaching style is patient and reflects the knowledge and wisdom he attained from years of study and teaching.
Rachmiel is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He's thorough, and explains things at your level - an important quality in any teacher. In particular, his breadth of knowledge makes him a force to be reckoned with in numerous subjects.
Very trustworthy, knowledgeable and an amazing teacher!
Excellent teacher, amazing character, knows how to make your lessons enjoyable and would go the extra mile for his students. Highly recommend...Toda Rachmiel.
Rachmiel taught me Hebrew from the very foundations of the language, and always brought along information that was both interesting and reinforced our lessons. He is very attentive and in-depth. He I would strongly encourage anybody wanting to gain proficiency in Hebrew to seek Rachmiel as the skills and knowledge he imparts on you will stay for life.
Rachmiel has a great command of Hebrew language and a gift for teaching it, which he complements with his encyclopedic knowledge of the culture, so learning with him is not only a pleasure for the curious but also an opener for further intellectual development.
A good and intelligent teacher!
Shalom! I didn’t even know a word of Hebrew when I started with Rachmiel but thanks to his enduring patience and wonderful teaching techniques, even people from Israel praise my Hebrew skills! Todah Rachmiel!
Rachmiel’s great! Highly, highly recommend.
Rabbi Rahmiel is one of the most dedicated scholars in the field of hebrew linguistics and Jewish history that I have the pleasure of knowing, and have informally learned treasure troves of knowledge from him in the time we've been aquainted.
Rachmiel has given me lessons in other areas and was a wonderful tutor at that. He was patient, explained the meaning of a concept and was overall a great tutor. I recommend him to anyone who'd want to be tutored by him.
Amazing teacher whom I highly recommend for those looking to learn Hebrew. I would love to have written this recommendation in the Hebrew Rachmiel taught me but I have a feeling that may be lost on most readers.
Well versed in Hebrew and a very welcoming personality.
Rachmiel made sure he gave me the time I needed to understand the course material. Great teacher, and overall a top bloke. 11/10
