About Lacy
I am a senior in college graduating with a BS in criminal justice and a Associates in music performance on euphonium and bass trombone. I have performed for 10yrs in marching band on euphonium, baritone, contra, and sousaphone. 3 seasons alternate with Phantom Regiment DCI on euphonium. 7yrs all district (euphonium), 4 yrs all state (euphonium). At the university level I have performed in: Concert band, wind ensemble, orchestra (trombone), jazz ensemble (trombone), brass ensemble (euphonium), tuba quartet, brass quintet, solo and accompaniment, solo and ensemble. I have person with community ensembles like: Kentucky classical orchestra, tuba Christmas, various church ensembles. I have also performed with broadway music artist, Mark McVey. And composer & director, David Holsinger.

It is in my opinion that trough proper posture and breathing techniques is the foundation to a great musician. From there, developing a strong centrality for tonality and support is the engine that sets a musicians momentum to success. Some Key activities I focus with are: breathing exercises, tone centering, metronomic exercises, circle of fifth/ scale progressions, rage building, technical exercises & lyrical exercises, embouchure development, posture development.
