About David
After years of studying music, forming and playing in different bands, writing music, and learning multiple different instruments, I find it very inspiring, meaningful, and fulfilling to see students of any age and musical background excel and engage in a new activity such as learning a new instrument that maybe they never knew they'd be able to learn. It is my honor and privilege to take part in the journey of my students to expand their skills and challenge themselves with new skills they can feel proud of themselves for.

I like to make sure my students are inspired, motivated, engaged, and having fun. While moving at their own pace in the way each individual student feels most comfortable, I like to provide exercises and techniques to establish a fundamental understanding. I like to use basic music theory as well as real-world examples such as a student's favorite songs or certain music styles they enjoy. I welcome any and all levels of interest with learning an instrument!
