About Janiya

I am a 28-year-old brown girl from Chicago. My BA is in English with a creative writing and psychology minor. I have worked both inside and outside the classroom on many academic levels (early education program). A well-versed published poet and a lover of cats.

About the lesson

I aim to create a supportive learning environment that fosters academic growth and confidence in students. They use personalized learning plans, interactive sessions, continuous assessments, building confidence and motivation through celebration of achievements, and holistic development by fostering essential skills like time management and effective study habits. These strategies are designed to inspire a love for learning, instill self-confidence, and empower students to excel academically. By implementing these strategies, I aim to create a positive learning environment for all students
