About Porsha

Master of Science in Nursing graduate who has the drive to teach nursing students to be successful and build confidence within their studies. I strive for excellence and demonstrate professionalism, dedication and motivation to each nursing student to be successful. I currently work on a telemetry transitional care unit (TCU) that has a focus of cardiology, neurology and more. TCU may be more known as a step-down unit in an acute care hospital.

Guiding and teaching future nursing students has been a passion since graduating with my ADN in 2019. I strive to build confidence in others and be transformational leader in nursing. I found having a nursing mentor/tutor creates an impact on the future of the nursing student. Great leaders, mentors and teachers are one of the first stepping-stones to the nursing student being successful. I always wanted to give my knowledge and motivation to others fulfilling their dreams.

About the lesson

Personalized tutor sessions to meet the individual needs of each student. Sessions to break down rationales and focus on critical thinking aspects of nursing. Individualized student learning plans and teach back sessions to guide the nursing student to think critically.

Favorite subjects to teach, medical-surgical nursing, fundamentals, leadership and psychiatry nursing.

Current hourly rate for tutoring session is $25hr however, I am aware being a full-time nursing student and or having a family can be stressful and hard financially, mentally and physically. I am willing break the price wherever I can financially for you to be successful by taking my tutoring sessions.
