About Kierra

I am a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with my Bachelor's of Nursing, as well as a graduate of La Roche College with a degree in Master's of Nursing Education. I currently am a nursing instructor, teaching various nursing classes, as well as teaching in the clinical and laboratory setting. I have taught classes in fundamentals, medical-surgical, pharmacology, leadership/management, and NCLEX prep. My passion is to teach and my goal for students is to succeed in their nursing career, as well as pass their NCLEX. I believe that the goal to succeeding in nursing school is practice, practice, practice. I am focused on test-taking skills and strategies, as well as implementing practice questions into every tutoring session.

With teaching Leadership/ NCLEX Prep in my current role, I have prepared many students for their NCLEX exam. Each student I tutor requires a different style of tutoring, so I adjust my teaching style to cater to the student. I have created my own NCLEX questions, as well as use several resources for NCLEX preparation.

I want to benefit the student I work with as much as possible, therefore I welcome any resources or suggestions that a student or a parent may have. It is my goal to help the student achieve their goals! I am easy to reach and will always provide a prompt response. About the lesson

In my spare time, I enjoy going to the beach, traveling, working out, and spending time with my family.

I have been a nurse for about 7 years, with vast experience from Medical-Surgical, Operating Room, Leadership, and as a nursing instructor! I have taught various nursing classes for LPN/LVN's and RN's. These classes have included Fundamentals, Medical-Surgical, Leadership, and NCLEX Preparation. I am the subject matter expert in NCLEX style questions in my current role as an instructor. As an instructor, I have tutored many students in various subjects, as well as test prep.
