About Aurora

I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a PhD in Physics, specialising in space exploration and rocket propulsion. My expertise lies in guiding students through complex concepts such as orbital mechanics, gravitational forces, reaction principles, and spacecraft design fundamentals. I believe in making learning engaging and practical by connecting theory to real-world applications. In my teaching, I use space mission case studies and celestial mechanics simulations to give students hands-on experience with the science behind space travel. These tools make abstract concepts tangible and inspire deeper curiosity. I focus on helping students not just understand physics, but apply it creatively to solve problems. About the lesson

My teaching methodology is nurturing and personalised, designed to adapt to each student’s needs and pace. I focus on making physics both clear and exciting, blending theory with hands-on exploration. Along with core physics topics, I teach related subjects such as computational physics, computer modelling in physics, data visualisation, numerical methods, and scientific programming basics. These skills help students connect concepts to real-world problems. I encourage computational exploration, allowing students to use simulations and coding to deepen their understanding. This approach helps transform abstract ideas into tangible learning experiences. I also integrate research-based techniques and practical examples, drawing on expertise as a research assistant and knowledge in nuclear physics. Together, we celebrate computational skills, creating projects that combine physics and programming. I support students in excelling by building their confidence and problem-solving skills. My method fosters curiosity, encourages questions, and develops critical thinking. The goal is to make learning physics engaging, practical, and empowering.
