About Cassim

Hi! I am a recent Neuroscience of Language and Speech graduate, with an MSc (achieving Distinction) from UCL. I also hold a BPS accredited Neuroscience and Psychology degree from KCL. Having recently completed my studies and begun the transition into the world of healthcare consultancy, I am still young (I hope..) and can therefore connect well with younger students, making complex topics more engaging and accessible. With over four years of tutoring experience, I specialise in 11+, GCSE, AS-Level, and university-level subjects including 11+ English (with awareness and experience of CSSE/ private syllabuses), GCSE sciences, Psychology, Biology, Academic writing and dissertation support. I have a strong research background, having completed a breadth of project work at university level and have a forthcoming publication of my MSc Thesis research. The fact that I have achieved two 'first-class' grades at BSc and MSc thesis level attests to my ability to teach analytical and writing skills effectively. I was a recipient of an academic scholarship at school level, attaining A*s in all Sciences, English, History, Maths, Geography, Latin at GCSE level and A*, A*, A at A Level. I tailor lessons to individual learning styles, ensuring students grasp concepts confidently while fostering academic growth in an interactive and structured way.

About the lesson

I provide structured, engaging lessons tailored to each student’s needs. Whether you need help with 11+, GCSE, AS-Level, or university-level subjects, I simplify complex topics, teach effective study techniques, and offer dissertation guidance. My goal is to help students gain confidence, master their subjects, and achieve excellent results. Sessions include exam preparation, academic writing support, and personalised feedback to ensure progress. With my experience in neuroscience, psychology, and academic writing, I hope to share my experience to help students excel in coursework, research projects, and assessments. Lessons are interactive, supportive, and designed to build strong foundational knowledge for long-term success.
