About Inaya

I am a Math tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Master of Science in Computational Mathematics. I specialize in making advanced mathematical ideas accessible to learners from all academic backgrounds. My teaching approach is holistic and focuses on understanding concepts rather than heavy computation. I believe mathematics should feel meaningful, not intimidating.

I work especially with non-STEM majors, including liberal arts students and humanities scholars. Many of my students come with math anxiety or a history of struggling with numbers. I help them rebuild confidence step by step. Instead of memorizing formulas, we focus on the big ideas behind each theory.

I use everyday analogies to connect abstract concepts to familiar experiences. I also include historical context to show how mathematical ideas evolved over time. This helps students see math as a human story, not just symbols on a page. Complex topics are broken down into simple, clear explanations. I encourage curiosity and questions at every stage of learning.

My goal is to remove fear and replace it with understanding and clarity. Together, we build confidence and learn to appreciate how mathematics shapes the world around us. I want every student to leave with a stronger belief in their ability and a deeper appreciation of math’s universal impact.

About the lesson

My Maths lessons focus on the power of data and how it can be used to understand the world. I help learners see mathematics as a tool for discovery, not just calculation. Together, we explore how data tells stories and reveals hidden patterns. I place strong emphasis on data interpretation and building clear thinking skills.

Students learn how to read and create graphs with confidence. We also practice statistical analysis in a simple and structured way. I guide learners through real datasets so they can connect theory with practice. This includes examples from science, business, social studies, and everyday life. The goal is to build strong quantitative reasoning skills.

We also study real-world research to understand how numbers support decisions. I break down complex ideas into small, easy steps. This makes even challenging topics feel manageable. I support learners who feel unsure about maths and help them grow into confident data users. Each lesson is interactive and focused on understanding rather than memorizing.

By the end, learners are able to turn complex data into clear insights. They become comfortable working with numbers and patterns. My aim is to help every student grow into a confident and independent data thinker, ready for future academic and professional success.
