About Oliver
I love teaching, as can be seen in my qualifications from tennis coaching to ski instructing. Having spent the past 5 months instructing skiing, I am looking to teach until I start my career in finance in September.
I look to make boring things fun with my students, by keeping things interesting through variation of content and learning methods. As someone who also does not like exams, I have found learning methods that optimise efficiency, something that schools do not teach too well. Not only will I aim to help teach my students each respective subject, but I will teach them study techniques that will transfer across all of their studies.
Further, as someone who has found a route into finance I can offer advice from getting into a dream university, an internship, or how to break into the world of finance. I started my career journey late but have now broken into it, I can teach you everything I know and how I would have done it if I could do it all again.

Having privately tutored for many family friends and neighbours, I have experience teaching from ages 10-18. Coaching tennis and skiing has also further increased my hours teaching children.
I teach a hands-on approach with an emphasis on repetition to engrain understanding and a perfect grasp on what examinations expect from its students. There is an algorithm to obtaining top grades and I hope I can teach this to my students!
Lesson length can be as long as you would like, but I believe that focus tails off after 45 minutes and you see diminishing returns. For me this is the sweet spot.
