About Elisabeth-William

I am an MSc Data Science graduate based in Aberdeen with a strong academic background in Python, statistics, machine learning, natural language processing and data analysis.

My dissertation applied graph neural networks to a real-world forecasting problem, giving me practical research experience beyond standard coursework. I also hold a BSc in Information Science, graduating with a Second Class Upper.

I am patient, adaptable and focused on building genuine understanding rather than just getting through material. I tailor every session to the individual student whether you are preparing for exams, working through university coursework, or developing practical data skills.

I am passionate about data science and I genuinely enjoy sharing that passion. My goal as a tutor is not just to help students pass their exams or complete their assignments but to help them build real confidence and understanding that serves them beyond the classroom.

I am available for online sessions and flexible with scheduling.

About the lesson

I offer tutoring in Python programming, Statistics, Data Science and Mathematics for students at A-level, undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as professionals looking to upskill in data skills.
My teaching approach is patient, practical and tailored to each individual. Rather than working through textbooks mechanically, I focus on building genuine understanding.

Typical lessons run 60 to 90 minutes depending on the topic and student preference. I am flexible and happy to adjust the pace and format based on what works best for you.
I can help with:
1. Python programming from complete beginner to intermediate level
2. Statistics and probability — hypothesis testing, distributions, regression
3. Data analysis using Python (pandas, NumPy, matplotlib)
4. Machine learning fundamentals — classification, clustering, model evaluation
5. Data Science university coursework tutoring
6. A-level Mathematics and Computing
7. Professional upskilling in data analysis and programming

I hold an MSc in Data Science and a BSc in Information Science. My dissertation applied graph neural networks to real-world energy demand forecasting, so I bring genuine research depth to my teaching, not just surface-level knowledge.
Lessons are available online via video call, making scheduling flexible and accessible from anywhere. I am happy to work around your timetable.
