About Léona

I’m passionate to help others reach their acting dreams! Whether that be to get a distinction in your grade 8 LAMDA exam, to train at your dream drama school or even to write your first play. As a child, I thrived taking part in drama exams and local auditions. These experiences helped me grow in confidence and discover my love for performing. I want to pass this same love for creativity on to the next generation of performers, helping others succeed on their own creative journeys. I am professional, organised and knowledgeable. I respond to each student's needs differently and expertly. No matter a student's level, I help them build confidence, develop key communication skills and unlock their own creativity and voice.

About the lesson

Fun, focused and creative teaching to give students confidence and success. Lessons are carefully tailored to each student; from free choice lessons, working on monologues or scenes for creative practice, coaching for drama school auditions to LAMDA exam preparation leading up to mock exams. Lessons range from 30 minutes to 1.5 hrs. I am an experienced teacher, having taught LAMDA grades from Stage 1 to Grade 8. I have 1st class BA(hons) degree in Acting from one of the UK's most prestigious Drama Schools, Mountview. I also have a CertHE foundation certificate from Italia Conti, another world-renowned drama school. I know what it takes to give you the best possible audition at Drama School. I have been teaching as an independent tutor for over two and half years and have been taught groups in singing, dance and drama lessons since the age of 16. My teaching methodology is both structured and success-driven but also flexible in design to each student's individual needs. I will help you unlock your best self in regards to your acting, writing and creative journey!
