About Autumn

My interest in guitar began when I discovered how simple chord patterns could create expressive music. This fascination inspired me to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Guitar Performance, where I studied musical technique, theory, and performance skills. Over the past 8 years, I have helped students develop confidence and enjoyment while learning guitar.

I believe that music education should be supportive and motivating. My teaching style focuses on clear explanations, patient instruction, and steady progress. Each student learns differently, so I adapt lessons according to their interests and goals. Some learners enjoy playing popular songs, while others focus on strengthening technical skills and musical understanding.

Outside teaching, I continue practicing guitar and exploring different musical styles. These experiences allow me to bring new ideas and inspiration into my lessons. Teaching guitar is rewarding because I see students grow from beginners into confident musicians who enjoy expressing themselves through music.

About the lesson

My guitar lessons focus on helping students build strong foundations while enjoying the process of learning music. Beginners start with understanding how to hold the guitar comfortably and how to coordinate both hands while playing. We practice basic chords, rhythm patterns, and simple melodies so students can quickly experience the joy of making music. These early lessons help learners develop finger strength and rhythm awareness while becoming comfortable with the instrument.

As students improve, lessons begin to include more complex chord progressions, rhythm variations, and fingerstyle techniques. I guide learners in understanding how chords connect to form songs and how rhythm creates musical flow. Students also practice switching chords smoothly and maintaining consistent timing. Step-by-step exercises help them strengthen their technique and develop better control over the instrument.

My goal is to help students feel confident playing guitar while developing a deeper understanding of music. Lessons encourage creativity and exploration so learners can discover the styles they enjoy most. Over time students build stronger technical skills and feel comfortable playing complete songs. Guitar becomes both a creative hobby and a meaningful musical skill.
