About Sham
I am a grade 12 student who has taken grade 11 functions and advanced functions and achieved above 95 in both of them. I have already tutored many students, and at the end of my last year, a student told me that without me teaching her, she wouldn't have improved and gotten the mark she eventually got. I gained volunteer hours by helping students at lunch and after school, and my teachers signed my name as someone who can teach any grade (9,10,11, and 12).

the way I teach math is by first understand the issue the student is having. sometimes a student wouldn't be able to get a concept not because it is hard, but because they probably don't understand the simpler concept that was taught in previous years. as a result, asking the students what they understand before I even begin teaching is a crucial point many teachers miss, which eventually will affect students' grades. Another method is that I give lots of practice questions and let the student do it, mess up, and then we correct the mistakes together. that will help to make sure that the information sticks in the student's brain. most importantly, is that I don't teach! I share my knowledge with someone who is interested in knowing it, and talk to the students as if they were my friends basically.
