About Theodore

I'm Théodore from Paris, France, currently living in Ontario, Canada. I am the founder of French After School Montessori and Mental Math Abacus (FASMMM). I work in various Montessori schools as a French teacher and also provide tutoring for different age groups to help children achieve their goals or overcome difficulties in the French language. My primary goal is to help children reach their potential and become comfortable in French and mental math. The benefits of using the abacus include increased confidence, self-esteem, problem-solving skills, concentration and focus, a strong mathematical foundation, enhanced memory skills, and faster brain function. I hold a trainer certification from Paris, France, and I am also a certified Montessori teacher in Canada and an Abacus teacher certified in Ireland. I am passionate about teaching and strive to impact children worldwide with my methodology and joy for teaching. I want to share my expertise and serve my community. I like the quotation from STEVE KAUFMANN is said: " every language we learn is a door opening up a new world, a new example of our common human creativity" "Math is like going to the gym for your brain. It sharpens your mind." "Language learning is not about reaching a destination; it's about the journey of discovery and growth." About the lesson

I blend elements from both the Montessori and Boscher French methods to craft an interactive learning journey for children aged 3 to 16. Utilizing tools like the Soroban, I instill mental math proficiency, enabling students to compute without external aids. Every class is personalized to cater to the specific needs of each student. I keep students engaged by incorporating a range of modern materials, making lessons both enjoyable and dynamic.
