About Greta

Teacher of English, Spanish, and Italian for Foreigners.

Education: I graduated with a Bachelor's in "Applied Linguistics" (2016) from the University of Turin. I obtained a Master's in "Modern Languages for Communication and International Cooperation" (2018) from the University of Padua. I studied for a year at the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares (Madrid, Spain) as part of the above-mentioned Master's degree.

International Experience: I worked as an "Italian Teaching Assistant" at the University of Liverpool (Liverpool, United Kingdom, 2019). I also worked as an Italian language lecturer at the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas (Esplugues de Llobregat, Barcelona, 2020-2021). I have also worked as a Teaching Tutor for the course "Language and Translation - Spanish Language" (SSD LIN/07) at the University of Salento. I am a certified DELE examiner for levels B1 and B2, a CELTA-qualified teacher, and above all, a curious and meticulous scholar.

Italian:
Docente di inglese, spagnolo e italiano per stranieri.
Formazione:

Presso l'Università degli Studi di Torino, dove ho conseguito la laurea triennale in "Scienze della mediazione linguistica" (2016);
Presso l'Università degli Studi di Padova, dove ho conseguito la laurea magistrale in "Lingue moderne per la comunicazione e la cooperazione internazionale" (2018);
Presso l'Universidad de Alcalá de Henares (Madrid, Spagna), dove ho studiato per un anno (parte della laurea magistrale di cui sopra).

Tra le esperienze all'estero, ho ricoperto il ruolo di "Italian Teaching Assistant" presso l'University of Liverpool (Liverpool, Regno Unito, 2019) e il ruolo di lettrice di italiano presso la Escuela Oficial de Idiomas (Esplugues de Llobregat, Barcellona, 2020-2021). Ho anche ricoperto il ruolo di Tutor Didattico per l'insegnamento di "Lingua e Traduzione - Lingua Spagnola" (SSD LIN/07) presso l'Università del Salento. Sono Esaminatrice DELE per i livelli B1 e B2, una docente CELTA e, soprattutto, una studiosa curiosa e meticolosa.

Obtuve una Maestría en "Lenguas Modernas para la Comunicación y la Cooperación Internacional" (2018) en la Universidad de Padua. Estudié durante un año en la Universidad de Alcalá de Henares (Madrid, España) como parte de la mencionada maestría.

Experiencia Internacional: Trabajé como "Asistente de Enseñanza de Italiano" en la Universidad de Liverpool (Liverpool, Reino Unido, 2019). También fui lectora de italiano en la Escuela Oficial de Idiomas (Esplugues de Llobregat, Barcelona, 2020-2021). Además, trabajé como Tutora Académica en la asignatura "Lengua y Traducción - Lengua Española" (SSD LIN/07) en la Universidad del Salento. Soy examinadora certificada DELE para los niveles B1 y B2, profesora CELTA y, sobre todo, una académica curiosa y meticulosa.

With my background as a linguist, I have a sharp eye for identifying grammar and syntax issues, and I take pride in helping my students master these areas. Whether you're struggling with verb conjugations or sentence structure, I'll work with you to ensure you understand the rules and feel confident applying them.

As a writer, I bring creativity and expression into our lessons, making learning not only effective but also engaging. I truly enjoy speaking with people and listening to their stories, which helps me create a supportive and interactive learning environment. I believe that real communication is key to mastering a language, and that’s why I encourage practicing with native speakers as much as possible. I’m committed to helping you gain fluency and cultural understanding, so you’ll be able to communicate naturally and confidently in any setting.
