About Sarah

Having lived in France as part of my childhood, I have always been interested in languages, travelling and culture from such a young age. I have recently graduated with Honours as a result of my degree of Modern Foreign Languages. I am enthusiastic, passionate and my fluency in French, alongside my previous experiences would be beneficial for all ages. About the lesson

My teaching method is quite informal, but with adequate information provided every lesson, in order to provide relative daily progress. I can provide online in-depth explanations of topics covered, as well as providing reading, listening, speaking and writing resources for pupils to complete as 'homework' for the following session. I am very adaptable and can vary my teaching and learning based upon request, whether that be speaking practice on varied topics, in order to gain confidence, or a more grammatical approach to learning, with further explanations and practice with worksheets etc. As I am currently a Secondary school teacher, I have a lot of resources to put to use for all year groups in all four key linguistic areas. Along with my previous experience of living abroad, I understand how foreign languages should be taught, which in my opinion, should be in a fun and interactive manner.
