About Harry
I’m a drum tutor with 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Percussion Arts. Drumming has been a major part of my life since childhood. I focus on developing strong technique and solid rhythmic understanding. My lessons combine foundational exercises with creative playing. Students learn coordination, timing, and musical feel. I work with beginners and advanced players alike.
My approach is supportive and adaptable. I enjoy helping students set and reach their musical goals. Lessons include genre exploration to keep learning exciting. I teach reading skills, dynamic control, and groove creation. Practice routines are organized and achievable. I believe in celebrating progress at every stage. My studio is a comfortable and motivating learning environment.
I focus on building confidence step by step. Helping students discover their musical identity is one of my favorite parts of teaching. I’m committed to helping you grow as a drummer.

My drum lessons are designed to help students develop confidence, technical mastery, and a lifelong love for music. Each lesson is personalized to the student’s skill level, goals, and interests, whether learning foundational rhythms, refining technique, or preparing for live performance or auditions. Lessons cover timing, stick control, hand independence, coordination, groove, dynamics, rhythm reading, and expressive phrasing.
I incorporate exercises, improvisation, play-along tracks, and song learning to make lessons engaging and practical. Students receive guidance on effective practice, goal setting, and ways to track progress, ensuring steady growth. My teaching environment is supportive, encouraging, and positive, allowing students to experiment, take risks, and develop their own musical voice.
Lessons emphasize listening skills, musical analysis, and ensemble performance to build confidence and adaptability. Students gradually develop technical proficiency, expressive ability, and creative independence. I celebrate milestones and provide constructive feedback to maintain motivation and inspire growth.
Drumming becomes a form of self-expression, discipline, and artistic communication. Each session balances structure with creativity, ensuring students leave with new skills, confidence, and inspiration. My ultimate goal is to guide learners toward becoming versatile, expressive, and confident drummers capable of performing in any musical context.
