About Rachel

Hello, my name is Rachel and I am happy you are considering lessons with me. I am a classical soprano based in London, Greenwich. I have been singing for over 20 years and in that time I have studied Musical Theatre, Jazz, Pop, Classical and Opera. Previously I have taught at the Pauline Quirke Academy, Make Believe and IAMT (International Academy of Musical Theatre) for students aged between 4-18. I have a BMus in Classical singing performance at Trinity Laban Music Conservatoire under the guidance of Sarah Pring. I am currently completing my Masters, also at Trinity Laban. My students have enjoyed many wonderful successes in exams and auditions. My students have gone on to study at places such as Chetham's School of Music, Junior Trinity Laban and Royal Welsh College of Music.

About the lesson

My lessons will be tailored to your individual level and goals whether you aim to become a professional, take the ABRSM/Trinity exams or have fun. In our lessons we will cover subjects such as technique, diction, dynamics, breathing technique and many more. I am a passionate teacher and always want the best for my students. In our first lesson expect that we will discuss your goals and any previous experience then move to a few warm-up exercises and finish with a piece you have prepared and enjoy singing. I am more than happy to offer in-person lessons from my music room and online. I have students across the country as far as Scotland and students in France and Italy. I look forward to hearing from you.

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy, if you cannot notify me within 24 hours I am happy to reschedule the lesson for another time. Obviously things happen and life can get in the way so if this is the case I am very flexible and will be happy to support in any way I can.
