About Harrison
I studied computer science as an undergrad at MIT, and I've always been a problem solver at heart. After that, I went on to medical school and I'm now a general surgery resident physician. Alongside my medical training, I'm also building an AI company, which keeps me close to both the technical and human sides of problem-solving. This mix of backgrounds, engineering, medicine, and entrepreneurship, gives me a versatile perspective that I bring into every lesson, whether we're working through a tricky concept or figuring out the best way to approach a problem.

My teaching style is adaptable and visual. I adjust each lesson to fit how the student learns best, using diagrams and examples to make ideas clear. I care most about making sure students actually understand the underlying concepts, not just memorizing rules or steps. Once they get the concept, they can apply it to any problem, not just the ones they've practiced. A typical lesson starts with a quick review, then we work through examples together, and finish with practice problems to reinforce what we covered. What sets me apart is this focus on real understanding over rote learning. It helps students become independent problem-solvers instead of just rule-followers. My lessons work for students at any level who want to actually get it, not just cram for a test.
