About Irene

Always a lover of drawing, art, and fashion, I completed my three-year studies in Fashion Design at the Marangoni Institute in Milan in June 2018. Here I was able to fully understand the process that leads to the creation of a garment of clothing, getting passionate about the phase of creative design and illustration of the same. From October I worked at the Style Office of the Roberto Cavalli Junior line, partly supporting also the graphic department: I dealt with the design of sketches and the primary layout of graphics, embroidery and applications. At the moment I am attending a specialization course at the European Institute of Design, "Designing Illustration", to really aknowledge the technical aspects of the work of an illustrator, but also and above all to expand my knowledge and my creativity.

About the lesson

Everyone can draw. It is a question of keeping on with exercise, having a lot of curiosity and a good spirit of observation. And these attitudes change depending on who wants to learn! This is why each lesson will be based on an individual training path, aimed at achieving a useful purpose, mainly based on the student's request.
Each lesson plan is studied together, and can be diversified. If required, it is possible to develop lessons with a simple approach, designed to lay the foundations of drawing, designed also for the little ones who want to have fun developing a new ability. If, on the other hand, you want to study the basic rules and techniques of illustration in order to prepare yourself for a course that requires this ability, such as fashion design or illustration, during these lessons a goal is set by the student.

If requested, therefore, the focus of the lesson will be on the techniques that interest the fashion process, based on materials and experience that I acquired during the three-year course at Istituto Marangoni. Starting from the research that leads to the creative design of the collection, we will move on to the design and coloring of the human figure, up to the rendering of fabrics, materials and objects. Furthermore, if requested, I can personally pay particular attention to the preparation of the material required for specific exams and exercises of the course attended by the student.
