About Brenna
I received both a major in Elementary education and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. I studied abroad for a semester in Spain and have traveled to Mexico and Peru as well. I have 11 years of experience teaching Spanish to students in 5th and 6th grade.

I design and create interactive lessons for students K-6 who are looking to learn Spanish. My teaching style is engaging and will get students using Spanish in ways that connects to their real life and experiences. I can cover all topics in Spanish Level 1 to build a solid d foundation for further Spanish language learning.
I teach using the C.I. (Comprehensible Input) model. Comprehensible input in Spanish is language that is mostly understood, even if you don't know every word, achieved through listening to or reading Spanish with the help of context clues, visuals, and repetition. This method, which mimics how children learn their first language, focuses on understanding meaning rather than memorizing grammar rules.
