About Ishir
I am an experienced Microsoft Excel tutor with over 4 years of teaching High School and College students. During this time, I have successfully guided 200-250 students to improve their Excel skills, helping them excel in assignments, projects, and real-world applications.
My teaching philosophy focuses on making learning practical, clear, and engaging. I believe that Excel is best learned by doing, so my lessons include real-life examples, case studies, and hands-on exercises. I emphasise problem-solving, creativity, and analytical thinking, helping students not just follow steps, but truly understand how to apply Excel to solve everyday tasks.
I cover all essential topics, including formulae, functions, pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting, data analysis, and advanced features like macros and basic VBA. I tailor each session to the student’s level, pace, and learning goals to ensure maximum understanding and confidence.
I take pride in motivating students and encouraging accountability, helping them gain independence and confidence in using Excel. My approach ensures that students leave each session not only more skilled but also more enthusiastic about applying their knowledge.
