I earned an MFA and have taught classes to elementary, high school, and college students. It depends on the subject I am teaching as to what a typical lesson plan would look like. In tutoring, I have taught in many different levels from elementary school, high school and college. My lesson plans change to the subject matter being taught but generally a typical lesson plan goes over basic elements and focuses on the particular aspect of the issue in which the student requires tutoring. Whether it is art, writing or grammar, I am patient and go over the subject matter until I am sure the student has a complete grasp of the material.
