About Daniel
I am a passionate third year medical student and a mental health advocate. I believe teaching and learning should always be holistic; your emotional needs are equally important to your academic needs and creating a safe space for students to learn and challenge themselves constructively time and time again reduces academic and test anxiety.
I know how overwhelming and difficult high school and the early years of university can be; with encouragement and patience, tutoring can really improve things.
I have experience in student leadership and the teaching and learning space; I have served on my university’s SRC, assisted with the development of teaching programs and I started my high school’s peer tutoring program. I am grateful for all I have learnt and can’t wait to learn together with you.

My lessons start with some goal setting and baseline assessments; I try find out as much as you know regarding a particular subject and where any understanding gaps are. We then fill in the gaps together through worked examples, study note/flash card making and revision. Your study style is very important to me; if you are struggling with finding a style I will help you! You can expect organized lesson plans and consistent individual focus during our lessons; I genuinely care about what I’m tutoring and how you’re doing; wholistic learning is my priority.
