About Ece

Hello! My name is Ece, and I am currently an undergraduate medical student studying Medicine at Trinity College Dublin. I decided to start tutoring because I genuinely enjoy supporting students through the medical school application process and helping them approach it with clarity and confidence.

I successfully navigated medical school admissions in both Ireland and the UK, progressing through multiple interviews and receiving offers to study medicine. Through this experience, I gained a strong understanding of what medical schools look for in applicants, particularly in interviews and personal statements. I also sat the UCAT as part of my UK applications. As an international applicant, I followed interview-based routes for Irish medical schools, which allows me to support students from diverse educational backgrounds.

Alongside my medical studies, I am involved in academic writing, research, and mentoring, which has strengthened my communication and teaching skills. I am patient, organized, and supportive in my approach, and I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and improve.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to be structured, personalised, and practical, with a strong focus on helping students feel confident and well-prepared for medical school applications. I tailor each session to the student’s background, application route, and goals, whether this involves interview preparation, personal statement feedback, or general admissions guidance.

Sessions typically last 60 minutes and may include mock interviews, discussion of common medical school questions, ethical scenarios, and step-by-step guidance on how to structure clear and convincing answers. I place a strong emphasis on communication skills, motivation for medicine, and presenting experiences authentically.

As a current undergraduate medical student at Trinity College Dublin, I bring first-hand insight into what medical schools look for in applicants. I have progressed through multiple medical school interviews in both Ireland and the UK and use this experience to provide realistic, supportive, and honest feedback.

My lessons are suitable for students preparing for Irish or UK medical school applications, particularly international applicants or those seeking personalised interview and admissions support. No prior interview experience is required.
