About Arturo

As an undergraduate, I dedicated a great deal of time to studying what gives writing style and clarity. Seeing examples of what makes a good sentence and what makes a bad sentence always stood out to me and changed my writing forever. Now in medical school, I've workshopped numerous personal statements for friends whether it was for residency or for medical school. There's something very powerful about helping someone tell their story how they want to.

About the lesson

Through questions and examples, I would show you what makes a well crafted sentence to build your fundamentals in writing.
I would review your written work before the session to provide personalized feedback so that your future writing will be more persuasive and beautiful.

These lessons could be invaluable to those applying to college/graduate school, students in writing courses, and those applying to a job.

He is very knowledgeable and well versed in all of the subjects we have covered so far. I appreciate how even when I hit roadblocks, he knows where and how to bridge the learning gaps. He’s great at problem solving and easy to talk to, which I think is one of the things I appreciate most in a tutor.
