About Jude

With over 10 years' experience teaching: I still love results day - that reward for the student's hard work and efforts. To see my students progress in education, to really watch them thrive, to see them go forward with a newfound sense of confidence in their ability - this is why I tutor. At GCSE Level, I studied Chemistry: attaining a Level 9.

About the lesson

My lessons are heavily tailored around the student: focusing on the areas of Chemistry they struggle with. I like to teach adaptably: some students are more visual learners whilst others learn more effectively through examples. For every student I have, I ensure to understand these subtle differences: allowing them to thrive during my classes - growing in confidence, learning Chemistry at a fast pace and enjoying the process! A central part of my lessons is answering Chemistry questions to ensure the concepts taught are fully understood and deepen understanding. Additionally, I like to ask open-ended questions 'why have you taken this approach?' and ask the student to talk me through the process they have taken. Through this, I am able to identify the specific area the student misunderstands and correct accordingly.
