About Valeria

Hello! My name is Valeria Vásquez. I'm Ecuadorian, I live in Spain, and I'm currently studying Medicine. I speak fluent English because I completed my entire high school education at a 100% English-speaking international school, which allows me to teach both English and science subjects with a solid academic foundation. I consider myself an observant, patient, detail-oriented, and organized person. In my classes, I don't follow a single method for everyone: I like to get to know each student, see what they need, identify where they struggle, and adapt the explanation to their learning style. I believe the problem isn't that the student "can't," but rather that they haven't yet found a study method that works for them. I also teach study and memorization techniques such as active recall, spaced repetition, outlining, flashcards, and syllabus organization. I've taken courses on artificial intelligence and can teach how to use AI tools effectively and responsibly to study more efficiently, create summaries, generate questions, practice languages, and prepare for exams. My goal is for my students to gain clarity, confidence, and independence in their studies.

Hi! I'm a medical student and I tutor Biology and English, as well as provide academic support for students who want to improve their grades, get more organized, and study more efficiently. I have experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB), so I understand the pressure of exams, assignments, study load, and the need to learn to memorize without wasting time. My goal isn't just to help you "review," but to teach you to understand concepts, remember them better, and apply them in exams. I also teach study and memorization methods such as outlines, flashcards, spaced repetition, active recall, and practical ways to organize the syllabus. Furthermore, I've taken courses on the use of artificial intelligence, so I can also teach you how to use AI tools effectively and responsibly to study, summarize, create questions, make flashcards, and enhance your learning. My classes are ideal for secondary school students, high school students, IB students, or anyone who needs support in Biology, English, or study techniques. In class, I can help you with: * Biology explained clearly and simply. * Conversational English, grammar, and academic support. * Exam preparation. * Study organization. * Effective memorization methods. * Using artificial intelligence to improve your study skills. * Support with homework, assignments, and academic questions.
