About Siva

I am currently a second-year medical student. Since I was 15, I have been tutoring kids through various avenues. Officially, I have served as a PSAT and SAT instructor for a test-preparation company. During my college education, I also volunteered overseas as an English teacher for elementary school-aged children.

About the lesson

I wish to personally work with each student and learn to identify their strengths, improve their weaknesses, and modify my suggested strategies to their preferred method of learning. In committing myself to each student’s growth, I will consistently collaborate with parents to update them on student progress and share ideas/suggestions that enrich each student’s learning. The biggest change I wish to see in my students is a greater sense of accountability for and interest in their education. I hope to see them find their confidence and take initiative in their learning process with guided independence. If students become actively engaged and reflect the excitement and a spirit for learning I would consider that a success. Once students demonstrate academic progress after individualized attention and focused teaching strategies to complement their learning style, then they would have found a momentum towards high academic potential.
