About Bhavika
I am an IMT doctor working in central London. I graduated from the University of Birmingham as MBChB with honours, scoring 1st out of our cohort of 380 students. I was awarded prizes for medicine, surgery, obstetrics & gynaecology, psychiatry, overall distinction and a Queen's scholarship. I recently scored in the top centile nationally on MRCP 1 and 2. I have a passion for teaching and look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion with our future doctors. I am currently part of a mentorship programme where I teach 3rd and 6th year medical students weekly. I also set up a new teaching programme within our trust for training up the new FY1s starting in the middle of a pandemic. As a final year student, I helped arrange a teaching programme whereby final year students would buddy up and teach 3rd year students. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and, having recently graduated, I remember the stress of being a medical student and hope I can help students out with practical tips and exam prep.

My teaching method uses a case-based approach to cover common pathologies in a practical, patient-focused way. As I was recently a medical student myself, I am well aware of the common areas examined. As a doctor now, I will be able to provide further clinical insight and practical tips for your future careers.

Perfect! Bhavika helped massively with preparation for my final medical exams (written and OSCE). She has excellent knowledge and is able to communicate this at a level that is appropriate for finals level. I would highly recommend Bhavika.
Perfect! I can't recommend tutoring sessions with Bhavika enough. I was very nervous about the idea but they were a real exam changer after a bad year. Like any great tutor, it is evident how knowledgeable Bhavika is from speaking to her for 5 minutes but what makes her stand out is how practical and flexible her approach to teaching is. Rather than just being another boring didactic teaching session, Bhavika was always keen to understand what level of knowledge I had on any given topic and was extremely pragmatic in building upon it. She managed to retrieve knowledge from me at times that I wasn't aware I had and helped me to integrate new information into a much wider medical context which really made things "stick" quickly. I always left sessions sure of the things I needed to work on and that was invaluable in the run up to exams. Her patience and encouragement throughout definitely helped me to do really well.

Bhavika helped me with my medical school OSCE finals. I couldn’t recommend Bhavika enough - she was incredibly knowledgable and very conscientious. I sent her the information my medical school had provided me with and she went through it meticulously to ensure I was very prepared. She was absolutely amazing and I will be back in touch for PACES!
Bhavika is extremely patient teacher who is happy to tailor lessons to the student’s concerns/weakness. She is great at explaining topics throughly while using clinical scenarios to help the student engage.
Bhavika is a really good tutor definitely recommend her. Puts a lot of thought into planning the lesson and really pushes you to become confident in areas that you are weak with. She is really kind and always ensures the lesson you have with her you achieve all the outcomes that are planned for that lesson. I truly enjoyed the lessons I had with her and highly recommend.
