About Holly
Hi, I'm Holly. As a university student myself, I have always had difficulty studying purely from books and find that discussing ideas and applying theories in conversation is a much easier, more enjoyable, and more memorable way of studying.
I have five years of Media Studies/Communications education, having achieved a GCSE, A-Level, and HNC in the subject.
I have been studying Film Production formally for over a year, and have participated in a large range of workshops and seminars outside of my studies. I have also recently produced three independent short films, associate produced a short dissertation film, and have experience as a First Assistant Director, Script Supervisor, Script Editor, and Story Developer.

Though I am new to formal tutoring, I spent a lot of my school years tutoring my friends and am used to guiding people through studying, revising, and learning.
In one-hour sessions, I like to tutor in the ways that I like to learn; by communication and brainstorming ideas. Reading can help understand the fundamentals of an idea, but I find gaining a deep understanding requires conversation and application.
My tutoring skills would be best suited to GCSE and A-Level Media students, and Level 4 Media or Film students.
