About Tim
I am an experienced and qualified teacher in Adult education but have been running my own creative media business for several years. I write both creatively and for business communications as well as carry out creative visual work.
I have taught A Level Film, Media and Communication Studies. And also on BTEC Nationals at Level 2 and Level 3 in Art and Design and Creative Media Production.
I have also taught as a visiting lecturer on at degree level.

I'm offering short 6 session seminars which will stimulate and inspire you in your written work. Topics covered will include.
- Prose and general communication improvement.
- Generating ideas for creative writing.
- Clarity and precision improvement.
- Essay and report writing. (Structure, pace, tone).
Each seminar group will be aimed at a common age group. For example all A Level students / aged 16-19
Lessons will be 1 to 2 hours long and structured with breaks to avoid screen fatigue.
Typical structure will be:
• Intro and brief task summary
• Task time
• Break
• Discussion
• Expansion task
• Break
• Discussion
• Summary and Close
All participants will be called upon to contribute to the group in each session. This helps the interaction and your learning.
