About Sam
I am a Mechanical Engineering student at Purdue University at the main campus; West Lafayette. I regularly do outreach to prospective students and high schoolers through the school by providing tours and helping run events. I also have three years of work experience in the service industry. Finally, I have three years of tutoring experience through my high school's peer tutoring system in Calculus 1, Algebra 1 and 2, and Physics. Along with this, I have two years of freelance tutoring experience.

I take time reviewing provided lessons, homework, and previous testing material, and then depending on the scenario I re-teach the material or I provide more examples to help engrain the techniques used for the problems. These lessons are typically for high school students, but it can apply to first year college students. The thing that I do best is personalizing my lesson approach to the client and ensuring I do my best job to help a client get to a point of understanding material.
