About Nicolas
I am a mechanical engineering student at the National University of Colombia (9th semester).
I have 2 years of experience in customer service and interpreting, and I have taught personalized classes on several occasions, focused on Native American pronunciation, corporate communication and writing texts.
I have always been very cheerful, I love to bother all the time and have a great time, so I always look for the classes to be entertaining.
I am an outgoing person and I love playing the guitar, watching movies/series that make me question or allow me to discover new things.
I really like music, history and culture.

Hi, this is Nicolás!
I like to get to know my students first, identify their interests, strengths and weaknesses.
I consider myself a very outgoing person and like to build trust and closeness to speed up the learning process in order to have good communication and make lessons very interesting, funny and entertaining.
I usually begin with simple methods of spaced repetition based on Listening exercises to learn the nature of sounds, identify the different sounds in American English, and clarify regional differences in accents.
On that basis, we explore the phonetic spectrum of sounds and work each phonetic group in an organized manner by weekly sessions, and verify and reinforce progress in speaking and reading exercises.
