About Thaj
I am an incoming Mechanical Engineering student at Sunway University with a strong academic background in Mathematics and Science. I recently completed my IGCSE and Pearson Edexcel International A-Level studies, giving me firsthand experience of the challenges students face when learning and preparing for exams. I enjoy breaking difficult concepts into simple, understandable steps and helping students become more confident in their abilities. I’m approachable, patient and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and learning at their own pace.

My lessons are designed to make Maths and Science clear, structured and less intimidating. I begin by understanding the student’s current level and identifying the topics they find difficult, then adapt each lesson to their individual needs. I use clear explanations, visual examples, worked problems and guided practice before encouraging students to solve questions independently.
I can support students in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at Years 7–10 level. Having recently completed my IGCSE and Edexcel IAL studies in Maths and Science subjects, and preparing to begin Mechanical Engineering at Sunway University, I understand the challenges students face and can explain concepts from a student’s perspective.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and focus on genuine understanding rather than simply memorising answers. I aim to help students become more confident, independent learners who can approach unfamiliar questions on their own.
