About Joel
I am a senior mechanical engineering student at WSU Pullman. I also work as a mentor for an engineering scholarship. I have experience working for other students to make their college life easier. For that reason, I am well equipped with the necessary skills to work as a tutor.
Growing up, I have used tutors to get through my education. Due to this, I have the knowledge of being in the shoes of the student being tutored and plan to apply methods that worked for me. Now, I have a great understanding on mathematics and how to teach it to others.

I enjoy teaching students with visuals and examples. In my lessons, I first start with introducing the concepts playing a role in the topic. Next, I move on to doing an example problem myself. Then, I assign simple practice problems to get started, guiding the student throughout the process. I am an enthusiastic tutor that enjoys teaching. I am willing to give lessons raging from algebra to calculus.
