About Rachel
I have tutored peers and students in various math topics and courses since the beginning of high school and have always enjoyed it! I am currently a peer tutor in university and love being able to share knowledge and understanding of material. Math can be scary or dreaded, but I am grateful for my ability to share both my strategy and love for it!

I am so excited to meet you and be your tutor! In order to get the most out of a tutoring session I shift my focus and approach to match the students needs, preferences, and styles. That being said, my methods involve teaching or reviewing topics of math, going through practice problems step-by-step, and then providing practice problems to be attempted. I use a comfortable friendly approach while also pushing students to grow. I focus on understanding, strategy, and problem solving rather than simply correct vs incorrect answers.
