About Julian Arushan
I am a mechanical engineer with a First class Honours in Mechanical engineering. I currently work as a researcher and engineer at Queen’s University of Belfast. On the side, I’m also in the process of completing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, looking into the design of lightweight structures to reduce carbon emissions. I have a strong understanding and practical grasp of Mathematics and the Sciences, primarily Physics. I achieved 7A*s at GCSEs and 4A*s at A-levels (Further Maths, Maths, Physics and Chemistry). Having gone through the process of GCSE and A-level exams, I understand how stressful and important these times can be for students.

Having gone through the process of GCSE and A-level exams, I understand how stressful and important these times can be for students. My goal is firstly, to help students walk in and out of the exam room with confidence. I realised during my own GCSE and A-levels that the key to this is past papers and my teaching style revolves around getting straight to the types of questions they’ll face in the exam from day 1, rather than towards exam season. My second goal is to enable students to develop a practical, real-world understanding of the subjects they learn.
